Our DIY Christmas

”I’m participating in the Spend-Less Holidays: Saving While Savoring the Season Blog Carnival, hosted by The Frugal Fil-Am and Dainty Mom. We’ll be sharing our tips on how to spend less this holiday season, so that we can have a more meaningful Christmas. Please scroll down to the end of the post to see the list of carnival entries.”

Last year was our first Christmas in our new home. That means, new home = moving in expenses + renovations and other unexpected expenses. So naturally, when the holidays rolled in, we really didn’t have that much budget for any Christmas decorations, trimmings and all that jazz. EPPE as they call it – Everything in its Place, a Place for Everything. I have ideas but I always end up feeling uninspired maybe due to lack of the right storage implements. And these days, no matter how I try to organize our stuff, they always end up in a messy pile because they have to be placed on top of the other so that my son can’t reach them. [Read more…]

I’m turning 29 this month, on August 7 to be exact. It’s that time of year again when I reflect how I’ve been doing. And while I have birthday wishes, I also have my birthday bucket list (to-do-list) [Read more…]

Inspire. Color. Imagine the Unimaginable.

The Power of Play and the Magic of Dreams

Let this be a guiding principle to all of us parents 🙂

I love this video! Whenever I feel down or seem to have lost my creative streak, I always turn to this. There’s a child in all of us 🙂
