Dreaming about my craft station

Only a few friends know this. I have an up and coming decor and accessories line for nurseries and kids rooms. I remember fully well early this year when I was starting on my designs – I’d sneak out of our unit just to create my crafts. I had to do that because I have a super curious toddler and I won’t have any work done when he’s around. There was a time when I camped out of our unit with all of my tools and materials. But it was such a pain as I always had to go back inside when I needed to: use the glue gun, use the flat iron, or work on a proper table.I must have a proper craft station.

Β These days, I find myself wandering to craft sites and pinterest and dream about my craft station. This photo below is my first option πŸ™‚ Paging Lyndon, this is my dream craft station πŸ™‚ hehe

This was originally a romantic song between Aladdin and Jasmine about a new world they will discover together. And then,it struck me that this is a better song, perfect actually between a parent and a child as they journey through life together. [Read more…]

I’ve been bummed about my skin lately when I came across this post from workchic.com’s blog πŸ™‚

It’s full of tips for us Moms who want our skin to still be in tip-top shape πŸ™‚

Tips reposted from http://workchic.com/blog/

1. Eat a good breakfast, since this will keep your blood sugar balanced all day – which fights breakouts. Make sure it has a balance of protein and carbs. Examples: Oatmeal with nuts on top; eggs and whole wheat toast; Greek yogurt and fruit.

This remains to be the ideal for me. In the mornings, I normally rush out of the door as I’ll be late for work. Must change, must change.

2. To fight wrinkles, make sure you eat green and yellow veggies at least once a day. The cartenoids and other antioxidants can protect your skin from the sun and fight the free radicals that break down collagen over time.

Oh, goody! I won’t have a problem with that! I love veggies! [Read more…]
