Lyndel’s birthday cake πŸ™‚
(Feb 19, 2011)
We have a new family favorite: Caramia’s Choco Tartufo πŸ™‚ It’s to die for! It’s one of Caramia’s gelato cakes. Cioccolato and Vanilla gelato in a shell of moist chocolate cake

Dear Lyndel

Hi My baby love,

Days from now you’ll be 6 months old already. We are so blessed to have you in our lives. You have grown to be such a happy baby, always singing and babbling πŸ™‚ You have already started on solids with much joy. We are so amazed by your interest for food.

Also, you have been taking interest with everything that surrounds you. You are this bubbly baby who always wants to experience the things around you. We even call you our little chismoso baby because even while feeding, everytime Mommy is talking to someone about something interesting, you always stop and look up, wide-eyed, as if to ask for more details. This just brings us to fits of laughter!

We (daddy & mommy)are so excited for our adventures together! I’m sure we will be learning a lot from you, the same way that you’ll be learning a lot of things from us. πŸ™‚

Happy birthday baby love love! πŸ™‚

This remains to be the ideal for me. In the mornings, I normally rush out of the door as I’ll be late for work. Must change, must change.

2. To fight wrinkles, make sure you eat green and yellow veggies at least once a day. The cartenoids and other antioxidants can protect your skin from the sun and fight the free radicals that break down collagen over time.

Oh, goody! I won’t have a problem with that! I love veggies! [Read more…]

Babywearing Lyndel

“Baka di sha makahinga?” “Sinasanay mo sa karga?”

These are just some of the questions that I encounter whenever I’m wearing Lyndel (I use a SaYa carrier, by the way) and I just answer them them with a smile on my face. πŸ™‚ I’ve had enough of these unsolicited comments from well-meaning and not so well-meaning people. And honestly, I don’t got bothered by their comments anymore because I know babywearing is good for me and my baby.

I enjoy wearing Lyndel and he does too! Whenever he has his crying bouts, I put him on the SaYa and he calms down and sometimes goes to sleep in no time. [Read more…]
